It's pretty cool of this place to have a whole floor just for making stuff. Seems like you could do anything you want there!
I've been working on fixing up one of the rooms for some kind of group work. Like, a crafting workshop? Not sure if that's the kind of thing anyone here would be interested in, but I was getting set up to do something kind of like this back home for some of the local kids before I came here. We were planning on starting with turning old socks into puppets, but most people here are older, so we could probably start with something more advanced. Don't gotta worry about letting you guys handle scissors unsupervised or anything.
It's just a thought, anyway, but if anyone would be into that kind of thing... let me know, yeah? Could do all kinds of things! Hell, we could yarnbomb the place to brighten it up a little bit! If it's something people would wanna go to, we could do a whole bunch of workshops. Like, one for puppets, one for painting, one for amigurumi...

((Hi friends, Shay here!! The mysterious thief has struck again. This time, it isnât just the espresso machineâŚthereâs a full coffee bean shortage throughout the hotel. Be it S*******s or the cafeteria, characters might find it difficult to get their hands on any joe whatsoever. Last time, there were clues, but what about nowâŚ?
Over the next couple of weeks, other things in the hotel that characters find precious might go missing. This is entirely optional, obviously, but feel free to use it as a prompt for mystery drama this month. With the schedule for the TDM event, Iâm thinking Iâll maybe put out the casino heist conclusion to this in between the two, so any new folks can jump in, but Iâd be happy to hold it for later if people want to give it more time toâŚpercolate.))

[ Uh-oh... Sumina has been armed with the forbidden knowledge of everyone mentions and will not hesitate to use it. ]
It seems we've had a few recent departures, but some new arrivals as well.
I think this is a great opportunity to express our gratitude for being able to meet and form bonds with our fellow guests from all corners of the multiverse. And as per Giselle's message from two weeks ago, this holiday can be used to celebrate friendships, as well.
As such, she and I have taken the liberty to prepare small tokens of appreciation for everyone. You can find them in a basket at the concierge, provided that they haven't yet been ravaged by animals...
Please feel free to take one, but also do not feel pressured to do so. If you feel so bold, you could even take one to give to another dear friend.
My hope is simply for everyone to feel appreciated today.

I've been sitting on it, but the circumstances with the lava and ice floors, make it pretty clear that major injuries are very likely if the hotel goes whack. No easy vacations for us đđ
But, I'm about to BLOW YOUR MINDS đ¤Żđ¤Żđ¤Ż You got a sprained ankle? Headaches? Experiencing weird symptoms? Any major broken bones or wounds from a possible skeleton army raising itself from Hell into space to destroy us all? Okay, that last bit is just me making shit up but you never know.
LUCKILY, I'm a healer. As long as you don't lose your limbs or other body parts, I can use my powers to heal any major injuries you may incur during your stay here. I'm also a licensed doctor (General Practitioner to be exact) so if you would like a basic physical and wellness check, look out for THIS handsome mug:

Aight, I'm about to enlighten a whole helluva lot of you so buckle up.
Le RĂŠveillon is a holiday feast far and away proving the superiority of French. You'll never doubt who's on top of the ladder after a taste, so Giselle if she's still talking to me and I and anyone else who gets it are gonna school the rest of you on real food.
Normally we'd do that kinda thing for Christmas Eve and New Year's, but seeing as god and I aren't exactly on good terms and that means nothing to most of you besides, let's push it closer to the end of the year. Let's say [CONVENIENT DATE HERE]. Get the feeling some of you sad sacks are just as used to being alone for the holidays and need some kinda excuse.
Course, if you think you've got the superior recipes in your corner, you can always challenge us in the kitchen. Gauntlet? Consider it thrown. There's an industrial kitchen floor big enough for a full iron chef brawl or two.
Or we can duke it out the old fashioned way, if you wanna go for the real brawl.
((OOC: I'll throw a log up for cooking challenge, feasting, brawling, etc. after the holiday weekend, so around like the 26th or 27th. This way we can dodge overlapping with celebration plans and ICly the log can fit somewhere between xmas and new years. Unless someone else has an actual new years thing planned, I'll try to fold NYE stuff in there somewhere maybe?
Also it's close enough to the Figue and Ringo adventure that I think it's more than fair that characters can still be blasted with the truth beam for this post if you want. Go nuts.))

Additionally, their hacking has temporarily ruined the server for everyone else a little. Per Squee, everyone will find that when they try to type into the server, theyâll end up spilling their true thoughts instead of whatever they were going to say. Their brain to fingers filter has been removed.
We can all play with this to whatever extent we want to! Itâll linger intermittently for a few days, and then taper off, and your characterâs account can just be totally unaffected if you want them to be.

To my fellow guests:
First, I would like to thank everyone who attended Miss Amelia's book club meeting last week. Please remember to thank her for organizing it!
Secondly:
I'm sure we are all aware of supernatural or occult happenings taking place at the hotel from time to time.
That being the case, I would highly discourage anyone from remaining on the library floor after-hours. For one, it seems to decisively close at midnight, leaving you with no way to return to your suite, but also, it appears that a ghost may be haunting the premises thereafter.
[ or, you know, get trapped on purpose to have your own ghostly encounter (?) she's not your boss. ]
All to say: it may be unwise to spend the night at the library, no matter your skillset or ability or no matter how comfortable and cozy the seating there may be. The library houses many great works from across the universe, and I cannot stress enough the importance of ensuring no harm comes to such a collection. It would be best if we simply refrain from angering the after-hours ghost there.
So... please plan your visits accordingly.

Well, I like at least one of you, so Iâm willing to share the scoop.
Astarion the Victorian orphan trapped in a grown manâs body and some blond guy I havenât seen around before broke the damn thing trying to lift it. Literally and figuratively. Dropped it a few feet from the door in the middle of grand theft bean.
I gathered anyone missing their fix would appreciate the heads up. You see Astarion or that tentacle-wielding lug around, be sure to thank em for making mornings more interesting. Iâd like to personally extend my thanks to blondie, too, so if you know who around here can do that kind of kraken shit, don't be shy.
And if you think theyâre just gonna replace the machine, youâre dead wrong. Bennet put up a cute little âpardon our messâ card, so weâre SOL. What's a girl to do?
