Since I've arrived here I've been exploring the place, but since it really is so huge... I was hoping I could gather some information from the rest of you.

I'd appreciate hearing about the various floors or rooms you've come across and what was in them. The strangest things you've seen, even.

There's only so much I can discover on my own, unfortunately, and I know that people have had... experiences, to say the least.

Oh, where do I begin. The floor with the demonic singing woman, perhaps? Or the one where everything was made of candy? There was also one that was just an empty warehouse of sorts, with a pile of soap and a first aid station and nothing else.

Interesting. And were any of these places dangerous, or were the demon woman and the soap simply set dressing?

The demon woman was absolutely a threat. I tried to hit her with a spell and she reflected it back at me. I'd never seen something like that before.

That said, she was also appeased by something very simple. The guests had to dance with each other, or sing. Then she'd let us leave.

There's a floor that's some kind of pool labirinth.

Is the labyrinth underwater, or are you at least able to breathe on the surface while you find your way out?

Parts of it are deeper, but you can walk in most of it.
It's like a public pool designed to be a maze.

There's something relaxing about it, but it's also unnerving.

There's a floor that's sheer ice, but the temperature of the room itself is warm and you leave behind color on the ice when you move.
My partner has also informed me sometimes the layouts themselves will shift.

Shifting layouts? Does this mean I can expect my room to appear on a different floor at the whims of the hotel?

No, from what we noticed, so long as there are occupants on the floor, the layout won't shift. It appears to be only ones without guests for now.
But that's correct. The ice remained solid.

That’s a relief. I’m currently the only one on my floor, but that makes it “occupied,” so…

I’d hate to have to go all around looking for my own room.

The anti-gravity floor is definitely a weird one. It's pretty wild to experience.

There was also one that was basically just like candyland. Everything was edible. Everything.

it's not that... akechi wouldn't enjoy a spa, honestly. he enjoyed the bathhouse that time he went with akira-- too much, really, considering the things about himself he revealed that he really shouldn't have-- but. but.

I had the good fortune of coming across a floor with altered gravity and a stunning, beautifully surreal landscape. Oversized mushrooms, abstract sculptures, lush plantlife, even a waterfall that appeared to be tears shed from the eyes of a giant statue. Of course, there were interesting points beyond the landscape alone. It seemed to be able to summon moments from the memories of those who visit.

What sort of memories did they drag up?

I suppose that would depend on who you asked. Certainly significant ones: moments in time that presented some sort of turning point. Good or bad, those have the potential to be quite stirring, but I have to wonder if we were presented with those particular memories for good reason.

[It should perhaps be called the Vale of Existential Thought, rather than the Vale of Tears.]
