Good evening.

I had an idea of what this place was when I accepted the invitation, but my understanding was flawed. It's been several days since we were "invited," but the picture isn't any clearer. If anything, I understand less and less what this hotel is.

We can reasonably assume the staff here is responsible for the poisonings/curses at the spa. At the same time as this, they've been feeding and housing us for free. If they wanted to actually hurt us, there's no reason they wouldn't have already.

There's also the matter of the "wish."

I'm posing the question to all of you to consolidate info. What is this hotel?

Where do you think we are?
Why were we invited?

That's what I thought.

On the other hand,
he is only the conceirge. That means he isn't in charge, or doesn't think he is.
He said something about the hotel changing itself, too.

So we'd be looking more for the owner?
Or whoever made the hotel?

Some of the others suggested the hotel could be doing things by itself.

So what's YOUR current theory, then?

Hotel

[ the hotel is an autonomous Stand of some kind that's acting of its own volition. Does it have a master? Does it need one? He doesn't know. There are clearly plenty of kinds of magic - he wouldn't be surprised if some don't require any human intervention. ]

After speaking with everyone on this post,
I believe it's reacting to both the staff and inhabitants and changing reality.
It's not clear how Mr. Bennet fits in. Maybe he was also made by the hotel.

So something linked to the collective consciousness.
Well, I think it's worth seeing how things change and develop, though I also think that's probably the most likely option.
It may be strange, but I can't say I mind it.
We wouldn't have met otherwise, right?

[ that's all he wrote. At least he is, indeed, exactly where he said he would be, though the 12th room on the fifth floor is more like a seaside cabin than a room in a hallway. It's plain-looking and quiet, overlooking the mysterious interior ocean. ]
