How many of you have returned to your worlds since arriving here? Do you frequently check in and has any time passed back home when you do? I'm curious, as a newcomer.

It makes me wonder what criteria must be made to have a different name.

And we both work for a school. He is a teacher, while I am more of a guidance counselor.

A school? So you're afraid he's falling behind on lessons plans?

[That might be read as sarcastic, except with Vincent, it really is a legitimate question. Why else would this man be so concerned for something important left behind in his world?]

[ ... Ah, true. If they were a normal school, that would be the concern, wouldn't it? Nanami wasn't quite considering that, though he doesn't want to lie either.

So, he offers something more neutral. ]

Not lesson plans, but an important event for the students. It's critical he be there.

But most of the other residents have assured me time doesn't pass back home while we're here so I suppose I can relax.

From what I understand, yes. Return home and it'll be as though you never left. So I guess you can relax and enjoy this vacation properly, if that's why you're here.

We're similar then. Yet I've been told it might not be a bad thing to enjoy ourselves while we're here. Something a little out of the norm for me.

A book club? Maybe. That's probably one of the better places to start.

I'll add it to the list of considerations. It's not very big so far.

If you're not into books, there's also movies. TV shows. Video games. Media in general is a very fulfilling hobby for some people.

Do you watch movies, TV shows, or play video games?

No. I'll watch a movie or TV show here and there but I don't follow them religiously. And I only played video games when I was younger.

Read. Cook. Drink. Relax in the ways I wanted to do back home but never got a chance to.

I can do that. Perhaps some non-fiction on the sengoku era, it might be interesting enough. I can explain whatever it is you don't understand as we read. Give me some time and I'll have a book picked for you.
