How many of you have returned to your worlds since arriving here? Do you frequently check in and has any time passed back home when you do? I'm curious, as a newcomer.

I'm planning on a short stay at home to make sure things are in order in my household and at school. It's been a while since I've checked in since I entered the hotel a few months ago.

How long are you planning on being away? What if you can't come back?

I've not yet returned, and don't intend to anytime soon, but I do know others who have. I was told by them that no time seemed to have passed during their stay here, as though they had never been gone at all. I suppose if one has to leave their home world behind for any length of time, that would be the ideal.

It definitely seems like the ideal. But I also worry one may forget their responsibilities in a situation like this.

I'm sure there are some who may use this as an opportunity to shirk responsibilities, but I'd like to think there are just as many who would take this time and use it wisely in order to better fulfill them when the time comes.

Well, perhaps not just as many, but at least a few. Two or three, maybe?

I will say, the staff here has been quite accommodating. As unexpected "vacations" go, we could do far worse.

I'm afraid I'm not one of them, but I've encouraged my partner to check on our friends at some point. I don't think she has yet, of course.

I'm sure everyone here has different circumstances, but surely some of them wouldn't want to be away for long if time is indeed passing...

I checked out and then returned rather recently, Mister Nanami.

Unlike others' experiences, however, time did pass at home, but I believe this to be due to the peculiar circumstances of my home. The amount of time that passed for others seemed to be incongruent with the amount of time I'd been staying here. Much, much less time had passed for them.

However, this isn't uncommon where I'm from, either - for time to pass differently in different realms and planes.

It does, thank you. Are you experienced with visiting different realms and planes then? This place isn't your first? Maybe your world is a "hub" world like this one, where many can visit from all over as well.

In a way... Perhaps it's more accurate to describe that I'm experienced with different realms and planes visiting me, rather than the other way around.

But that is my theory as well, Mr. Nanami. Our operations and reach are far, far smaller than this, as I've mentioned, but still.

It is. Some have arrived here from their home while in the middle of important tasks, it's critical to be able to return.

I haven't done that myself. Time has flown by relatively quickly since my arrival. However, judging by what other people have already said, I'm sure time won't be much of an issue. I do hope the same is true for me, too.
