Greetings,
This is Amelia Steinbeck, a guest at the Hotel Caelum, and resident of Room 700.
It appears that books are a universal constant and so I am bestowing an open invitation to other guests who are interested in discussing fiction and nonfiction so that we can bridge cultural gaps and gain further understanding of other cultures and customs through the medium of literature.
Here is a sample of what we'll be reading to discuss as a group. I am open to other suggestions and the structure will be loose; you need not read these if you have a book you'd like to read silently during and after discussions.
A time and date will be settled on and pinned so please keep an eye out for notifications. More details to follow. Thank you.

But on the other hand, I think something nonalcoholic would be better. A sweetened tea perhaps or a sparkling drink such as cranberry juice plus lemon soda.
I just don't trust the other guests with alcohol yet so I'm trying to be preventative in case the book club gets rowdy.
[Amelia what are you imagining]

Noted, on all counts! I think it is wise to refrain from serving alcoholic drinks for the time being, especially as we've all just met recently. I wasn't planning on partaking, myself, actually...
I really do hope we that we don't have to worry about something like a book club getting rowdy...
[ But, gods, she wouldn't even be surprised if it did, just given the myriad catalysts she has experienced in the tavern of the inn that have spiraled into full-on brawls... ]

A revision from my last message; one or two bottles of red wine will be acceptable.
[Thanks, Astarion!]
We'll just have to play it by ear when the time actually arrives.

Don't worry, Ms. Steinbeck. If anyone begins to act in an unsavory way, I can ask them to leave. I have plenty of experience!

Alright. Only ask them once though and if a second tongue-lashing is needed, I'm stepping in.
