It's pretty cool of this place to have a whole floor just for making stuff. Seems like you could do anything you want there!

I've been working on fixing up one of the rooms for some kind of group work. Like, a crafting workshop? Not sure if that's the kind of thing anyone here would be interested in, but I was getting set up to do something kind of like this back home for some of the local kids before I came here. We were planning on starting with turning old socks into puppets, but most people here are older, so we could probably start with something more advanced. Don't gotta worry about letting you guys handle scissors unsupervised or anything.

It's just a thought, anyway, but if anyone would be into that kind of thing... let me know, yeah? Could do all kinds of things! Hell, we could yarnbomb the place to brighten it up a little bit! If it's something people would wanna go to, we could do a whole bunch of workshops. Like, one for puppets, one for painting, one for amigurumi...

Anyway. Let me know. Figure this room could be a kind of community craft space for anyone to use and hang out in, either way. It's room 5 on the third floor.

I do make stuff back home, and paint, and some other things. Only did something like this before once for some kids in the neighborhood, but they seemed to like it. Figured we'd do it again, but then I wound up here and thought I'd stick around awhile.

Sounds like you're a very creative person. Are you a shop owner, too?

Kind of? My family owns one, and I grew up helping out there. It's supposed to be mine someday. My mom put some of my stuff in the shop to sell awhile ago, did it without asking. Guess she figured I'd say no if she did, but people actually bought it. I didn't make any of it for money.

So when you make art for yourself, what kind of things are they? What did people gravitate towards?

I dunno, I wouldn't go that far. I'm just doing what I like.

People were really into these knit dolls I made. I made some for a couple of kids in the neighborhood, and now all their moms want some, too. Real cute shit, though. Rot your teeth out kinda cute!
