Well well, would you look at that? The place didn’t burn itself down while I was gone, though not for lack of trying. Or so I’ve been told.

Anyway, it looks like we’ve acquired some new faces in the last month. In the grand tradition of the hotel forcing us to get to know one another, why don’t we play a little game?

Is everyone familiar with “two truths and a lie”? It’s simple enough. List three things about yourself, one of which is not true. Others must guess which is the lie.

That does come as quite a surprise! That said, there is that saying about it being the quiet ones you ought to look out for. Does that seem to suit?

Guess you found my glass slipper. Pretty easy to overlook one of the quiet ones biding their time. Keep your head down long enough and you'll eventually get there.

There's no going back to being that kinda person for me, though, so you'll have to imagine what she was like.

Fortunately for me, I've quite an active imagination! I will say, your current self does make it difficult to picture all the same. Given that you yourself say there's no going back, I can only assume you're much happier as you are now.
