Well well, would you look at that? The place didnβt burn itself down while I was gone, though not for lack of trying. Or so Iβve been told.
Anyway, it looks like weβve acquired some new faces in the last month. In the grand tradition of the hotel forcing us to get to know one another, why donβt we play a little game?
Is everyone familiar with βtwo truths and a lieβ? Itβs simple enough. List three things about yourself, one of which is not true. Others must guess which is the lie.

You'd be quite right! Brilliant, of course, but often getting myself into trouble trying to keep myself occupied and push past my boundaries. I spent a great deal of time in detention, perfecting my signature.

In all honesty, it comes with a number of responsibilities, some of which I've been relieved with in recent years due to unfortunate circumstances, but such things are temporary. Archmages are master spellcasters and considered leaders among the magical community, stewards of knowledge.
