Well well, would you look at that? The place didn’t burn itself down while I was gone, though not for lack of trying. Or so I’ve been told.

Anyway, it looks like we’ve acquired some new faces in the last month. In the grand tradition of the hotel forcing us to get to know one another, why don’t we play a little game?

Is everyone familiar with “two truths and a lie”? It’s simple enough. List three things about yourself, one of which is not true. Others must guess which is the lie.

Here, I’ll go first.

It's a little more chaotic than I'm used to without your presence, but things seem to be running smoothly enough.

Just a bit. I think it would have overwhelmed me regardless, but since I was ALSO trying not to die it was rather a lot.

It surely would have, even without the dire circumstances.

Could you... understand, what you were seeing at the time? Did you know you were seeing the birth of a galaxy? Or was it something you made sense of after the fact?
