Well well, would you look at that? The place didn’t burn itself down while I was gone, though not for lack of trying. Or so I’ve been told.

Anyway, it looks like we’ve acquired some new faces in the last month. In the grand tradition of the hotel forcing us to get to know one another, why don’t we play a little game?

Is everyone familiar with “two truths and a lie”? It’s simple enough. List three things about yourself, one of which is not true. Others must guess which is the lie.

Here, I’ll go first.

A bit eventful. There have been some issues with the floor temperature. First it was burning, then frozen.

Nothing too unusual for here, however. And we had a free sleepover in the hotel lounge, which was nice.

No, never. I feel like I would be more uneasy if things were dull here.

How was your trip back home?

It was good. Nice to see everyone again, and work didn't catch fire either. Win/win!

As far as the game is concerned: the third option seems the least plausible. Even though I have reservations in choosing it, since I know that your circumstances back home are vast and cosmic, that is my answer.
