Good evening. My name is Figue. If you've made the acquaintance of Ringo, you can consider me as something like her sister.

I would like to put forth an offer and a question:

Firstly, I have noticed several guests have encountered difficulty with making use of the network. As an AI, I would be happy to offer instruction or answer any questions they might have.

Secondly, I would like to compile a list of those who possess either healing abilities or medical expertise. In the event of a problem, I'd like to pin this list so that those who have newly arrived will know who to contact first.

... Also, if Ringo has caused you any trouble, please let me know. I know she can be a bit of a handful.

Yes. As constructs, we're limited... but for all intents and purposes, you can consider us more or less the same as humans. Our origins are just different and our abilities are also a little more unique.

[ Not only are they not human, they're constructs, too... Such notions are not entirely heard of in the 'verse she came from, but they are a bit... rare. How fascinating! ]

I understand. While constructed beings are rare, the realm from which I came is full of many non-humans, too. I myself am only half-human, actually!

All to say, I hope you feel welcome here, regardless of your origin, Ms. Figue.

That's very kind of you, Sumina. I'm coming to realize there are a plethora of very interesting individuals here. Aside from Ringo, our companions back home were all humans, so it feels a little strange.

That is a nice way to look at it. Strangeness can bring some excitement into life, after all, yes?

That's very true. The world outside the sea of information is very unpredictable, I've come to find out. Or at the very least, its inhabitants are.

I think you and your sister might find yourself quite rich with new information here, Miss Figue. Hopefully it doesn't become overwhelming!

I wouldn't worry about us. I've processed much more information at a greater speed than this. I do think overall, learning more about this place and its inhabitants will be useful.

Well, what's something that you've already found fascinating upon your arrival here?

The layout of the rooms, for example. It's as though the structure itself read my memories and preferences.

That's precisely what it feels like, isn't it? That's probably one of the things that amazes me most about this place - there's a lot to be amazed by, to be sure, but that especially.

May I ask of you the same thing, then? You said "one of the things". What else has amazed you in particular?

The nature of the floors here. It would not have been unheard of for each floor to perhaps have its own architectural style or ambience, but each floor is almost like a different realm altogether.

For example, when one steps out onto the seaside floor, you do not get the sense that you are simply in a structure that resembles a beach. You find yourself standing on what feels like a true shoreline, with a real sky, and a real sea breeze, and so forth.

How fascinating. I suppose there's technology that could simulate something realistic, but on such a large scale?
What would you say your favorite floor has been?

Technology, or magic, or perhaps even both... Now that would be an interesting feat.

As for my favorite floor... Perhaps it's too easy of an answer, but I do quite like the floor that I live on. Apart from that, though, the library floor truly is a marvel.

I'd like to see that floor, I think.
As it stands, I can't simply access or return to Aion... but I'd still like to acquire what information I can.

I would be happy to show you sometime, although I must insist that we go during proper library hours.

If I may ask, Ms. Figue, is Aion sort of like... a patron for you?

A patron? As in something I look to for support or guidance, or do you mean something different?

An entity you look to for support or guidance, certainly, but I suppose I'm also curious if this Aion of yours would be comparable to something like a deity.

In the world from which I came, it isn't rare for individuals to act as "extensions" in a similar way that you have described, but on behalf of a god or some other powerful entity.

I suppose you could consider Aion something... similar? I'd hesitate to call it a deity; it watches over humanity with a policy of non-interference except in an event that would spell catastrophe if allowed to come to pass.

Is that so?

Not too unlike a deity, then. Especially one who might take a similar approach. Some are more... hands-on than others, I suppose.

Are you familiar with deities, Sumina? You seem educated on them, at least.

I've simply met many people from all walks of life in my line of work, Ms. Figue. All that I know of the gods simply comes from having spoken with many who serve them in some form or fashion!
