[I don't know the answer to this question so if this gets retconned and we uncovered new continents in the future, no it wasn't and no we didn't]

Teyvat is the name of my world. Sumeru is just one of several nations within it--we're bordered by Liyue, for example, and Fontaine is just across the sea.
